On March 12, 1998, a new zoning map for Example Township was approved by the County. the township is now comprised of parcels zoned Primary Agriculture, Rural Residential 20, Commercial and Light Industrial. Primary Agriculture allows two houses per 40 acres and Rural Residential allows 20 lots per 40 acres. The new zoning map hangs on the wall in the Town Hall.
